Unitruc in the Community

 

Unitruc enjoys a good solid reputation amongst its peers in the transport industry and amongst those in its client base but the company's profile in the community at large has always been regarded as important too.

Charities

Charity support is an integral part of Unitruc's community program. We actively work with a number of local charities and organisations, sponsoring events, day trips and specialist equipment for less privileged children.

Schools

Over the past 28 years we have sponsored events at local schools that teach children road safety skills and the highway code as it affects them, the dangers of drugs and important environmental issues.

Southend Carnival We are regular attendees in the Southend Carnival, volunteering our services to local charities and organisations. In 2007, our local superstore won 1st prize for their set-up on the back of one of our trucks. Seen here are the Sitara Belly dancers utilising our truck as their stage for the evening. The services of our 3rd truck this year were used by our local Scout Group. We're proud to say that we have been able to donate our services to the Scouts for this purpose for the 10th year running!
